It was said that during the Battle of the Mountainside, Prince Oakly was able to scale the mountain at inhuman speeds and jump so far that it seemed he had taken flight.

Personal history

Prince Oakly is most famous for supposedly defeating Edmer Ronk in one on one combat during the Battle for the Mountainside. The battle was won for the Flemmings under Oakly's command hence why they call him "The Griffin", a name that symbolises strength, military courage and leadership.
