Mother Mercy
The Mother sees the wounded and the sick and offers them a balm. All are welcome within her sweet embrace.
- — Spend a PP and lay hands upon the afflicted to remove their physical stress and/or trauma and add it to your own. You must take the whole die rating upon yourself.
- — Spend a PP and offer words of soothing comfort to step down another character’s Mental stress by one level.
- — Spend a PP and smear honey upon their brow to step down another character’s Physical stress by one level
- — Spend a PP and lay hands upon the afflicted to instantly know the cause of another’s pain and suffering. This can be as simple as “They have an ulcer in their stomach” or as hidden as “Their heart was recently broken.”
- — Spend a PP and break three eggs into a fire to ensure a newborn babe near you survives at least a year, free of disease. This does not protect the child from outside harm, only that it will not die of complications.
- — Spend a PP to pass through a swarm of vermin or insects, such as bees, rats, worms or carrion beetles unharmed. Spend an additional PP to offer the same protection to a group of people number no more than the die size of your relationship with the Mother of Mercy.
Those claimed by the Mother of Mercy find themselves compelled to sit alone in a quiet field. Within a day or two, their body will have become a host for bees that will make a hive in their remains.
