Public Agenda
The Steeled Men are a neutral party who's only interest is the defense of the realm. They ask their (usually forced) members to put their past life aside and take the Gilded Pledge. They seek to destroy threats in the north.
Assets
The Steeled Men do not deal in the trade of silver and gold but have extensive access to the many mines within the Scar, so they are never short of any kind of metal. As of late there has been a lack of men joining the order, so at most 100 men guard any given fortress. They have few horses and no ships to speak of.
History
The Steeled Men were formed in 31 PC after the War of Ice. The Honorable Dendon Blastak proposed the idea of the Steeled Men to the old King Korin. Korin named the group for Dendon's extensive knowledge of metals that he would share often. Dendon became the first Adamantine Shield and relinquished all his lands to his eldest son.
