Born in foreign lands in a state of chaos, he fled with his family by ship and landed on the shores of the continent. After evading capture by slavers assualting the port, he was picked up by envoys of the hanging tree and taken into their ranks. He proved to be an adept politician, linguist and rogue. He was posted at Maerin and quickly rose the ranks to chancellor. He secretly diverts resources from the treasury and works a secret network of the hanging tree within the town. His aims are to make contact with the hags who he suspects caused the catastrophe in the mine.
