Major language groups and dialects

The elves all speak Elvish. Each type of elf has their own dialect, though all of them retain mutual intelligibility.  That is, all of them except the language of the Sand Elves, which has been influenced by the Nouhimiyan language to the point that it is no longer mutually intelligible.
