Yoon Suin (Continent)

Yoon Suin, the Purple Land, is a large resource rich area. The greatest civilization of western world is ruled by slug-people, but the Hong Ma Legion have designs to overthrow these "Corrupt Slow Folk" and take the country for it's human general.

Geography

The Continent of Yoon Suin (lit. The Purple Land) lies to the west of Godaikoku . It is a large continent, with many varied climates and many large cities. The entire continent is controlled by Yoon Suin and it's slug nobility. The largest city in Yoon Suin is The Yellow City , where most of the slugman nobility resides. To the south surrounding The Yellow City are massive rain forests dotted with waterfalls and lakes. Within this lush area, many big cats and lizards are found, and deep underground the Lizard folk do their strange rituals, known only to a scant few survivors. To the north are the great mountain ranges of the Yuèliàng Shān, icy cold and uninviting. Dragons are said to call this region home,and giant bats and bears make it's many cave systems their home. The Yeti folk are said to live here, in tiny villages, dangerous even to the large creatures that call this region home. To the west lies the great desert of Tàiyáng Zhī Sî, boiling hot during the day, and freezing cold during the day. Giant spiders and scorpions roam this vast place, fighting for the best places to live. Only brave nomads dare to settle here for long periods, and the horse riding caravaneers (known as Shāngrén) are the only people known to live here for periods longer than one week, and even so return to the east monthly. In the center off Yoon Suin is the great plain, vast fields of green grass with many small human villages. Closer to the north of the great plain,bordering the Yuèliàng Shān is the tiny pandafolk village of Xióngmāo Tuni , the last known settlement of their kind, surrounded by smaller mountains to the south, and a great bamboo forest. To the east are the Tea and Opium plantations of the Sughd area. Very little in the way of creatures call this area home, as it is overrun by humanoid construction. The great armies of Hong Ma hail from this area.

Natural Resources

Yoon Suin has many natural resource, and is very large spanning many miles. Various metals can be found in the Yuèliàng Shān mountain range, iron, copper, gold, silver and platinum are all found here. If you can dig deep enough into the mountains you might also find diamonds and other precious stones, but few would risk the wrath of the dragons. The great plain is home to many domestic livestock and fields of different sorts.The occasional bamboo forest is found close to the God River. The Sughd area is home tea farms and opium plantations, but otherwise barren. The rain forest surrounding the Yellow city is a perfect place to gather timber, and further underground topaz can be found.
