Elements
in MagicThe diagram shows the interactions of elements at their most basic pure level. Red Arrows indicate that the element bypasses natural resistances, does extra damage to, and is immune to the element being pointed at. Blue Arrows indicate that the element bypasses natural resistances of, and has natural resistances against the element being pointed at. Yellow Lines indicate that the elements bypass the natural resistances of, and do extra damage to each other All physical elements are immune to metaphysical elements, and vice versa. All elements are bolstered by application of themselves.

Elements are the building blocks of the world. They are the way our world experiences Aether (which is a balanced combination of all 12 elements), with the lack of all elements being Deridah. The elements split into 6 physical (Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Wood, and Metal) and 6 metaphysical (Life, Death, Light, Darkness, Chaos, Stasis).
Every element has its own plane made predominantly of itself that simultaneously metaphysically encircle the plane of Terra and extends out infinitely in all directions. An elemental plane can be accessed directly by passing into the Gigas of that element on Terra and can be exited the same way. The planes are the natural homes of the Elementals.
The elements are organized in a natural "wheel" of balanced interactions. The order of the elemental wheel is Fire, Stasis, Metal, Life, Air, Light, Water, Chaos, Wood, Death, Earth, Darkness
