Orange Inscriber Archmage, Professor Anní Silverhand
Anní Silverhand is a dwarven woman, and one of the three founders of the Æther Foundation. She is an Archmage of the Cobalt Sun and the Inscriber for the Fundamental Circle of Aether. Her primary magical focus, despite being a member of the circle dedicated to elemental magic, is on true magic - her focus when she attended the University of Solimé and her main interest in magic.
Since being a founder of the Æther Foundation, she has written many academic papers detailing the research that she and Dr. Cain Temple, though she has since lost her passion for the research and it is primarily Dr. Cain Temple's project. However, she continues to write for the experiments to allow Dr. Temple his own time to continue performing these experiments.

Thanks to the plasticity of the developing brain and other biological systems, the neurobiological response to chronic stress can be buffered and even reversed, especially when we intervene early in children’s lives. This provides a compelling justification for the upbringing of genasi children outside of their own homes, as their unfamiliar elemental abilities have shown to cause stress that cannot be relieved by their parents.
Personal History
Early Life
Anní Silverhand was born to Lyrà Oakenshield and Argarius Mountainjaw, in the city of Astrakkhan, Vechia underneath the Solorim Mountains. She was the youngest of three siblings, and the rest of her family had interests in stonework, mining, and blacksmithy. Anní, on the other hand, quickly took an interest in magic. She would visit her local libraries and read as much as she could regarding the arcane and the Weave, wanting to become a mage herself. Her parents tolerated these interests in the hope that she would go into, in their eyes, a more reasonable profession - such as enchanting weapons and armour, or runework.University
However, these hopes did not come to fruition, instead crushed when Anní asked her parents if she could attend university. They refused to help her in this regard, pleading with her to stay with her family. However, when Anní ignored them and managed to scrounge up enough money to attend the University of Solimé in Solimé, the next city over, they were greatly disappointed. At that point, her family decided to disown her, and Anní lost her right to use their surnames.Meeting Temple
This disconnection from her family ostracised her from her other dwarven peers, and while she was succeeding academically, she was failing socially and emotionally. Working two part-time jobs as well as being a full-time student, Anní began to struggle. She was barely able to stay afloat, and it was beginning to look like she would need to drop out. Despite this becoming an inevitability, she clung on to hope that something would change and that she would be able to continue. After all, she had spent so much time and money to get there in the first place. Despite this flaw in her thinking, she met Cain Temple in what could have been her last semester that she could afford. Temple was also a student at the university, and was much more financially stable and well-off than Anní was. And he saw promise in her abilities. As the two became friends, they would begin to work on projects together, later joined by Luthor Irongrip - who himself was not a student, but was able to provide support and assistance to the group when needed. When now-Dr. Cain Temple graduated, he offered Anní a job doing research with him, which she accepted. Later, Dr. Temple joined the Cobalt Sun's Revelatory Circle of Energy, Anní and Luther later becoming members as well. This allowed them to continue their research, ensuring funding would be permanent for their projects. While Anní seems to have lost interest in the project, she remains due to her debt owed to Dr. Temple and the fact that her reputation is permanently tied to his.
