Akeldama
The Desert's Curator, The Sand-Scored Gorgon Queen
Laurelia, if that is you, will you not sing? Laurella, gift me one of your crafts, won't you my child? Laureli, let me hear the rhythm of your steps. My darling Laurels, is that you? Have you finally returned to your mother... Why must he dig the iron deeper into my own heart? May the Muse of the Heart wither! May Lark fade!
Once the doting wife of Lark, Akeldama has since changed. Under the sway of a powerful curse for thousands of years, the Curator of the Arts became – for a time – the Sand-Scorned Gorgon Queen, a mummified husk of her former self determined to destroy and consume everything created for Lark in a vain attempt to repossess and protect her daughters, the Laurels. Now, with her curse lifted, Akeldama has returned to her role. The Sea of Moving Art has become unruly in her absence. While Lark may desire to fling colors at a wall and chaotically hop from project to project, the Desert's Curator recognizes the need for organization; for collecting the works of art into something more broadly meaningful. Yes, a golden thread may run through every piece of artwork... but how do they connect? Where should they be placed? And who should have the honor of owning them, if at all? To those in the Heart of the Desert and other oasis towns, Akeldama is primarily a Curator. To those who roam the desert, she is the embodiment of the Dune Sea itself. For like Akeldama, the Dune Sea protects its own... but on occasion, it will instead seek to destroy and consume them, lost forever buried beneath the sand.

Tenets of Faith
Patron of Private Arts – The most inspiring and splendid art need not be made for the world's stage. It need not be presented on a pedastal for the broad masses to critique or praise. No, sometimes the best art is produced in private: a child's drawing, a woven tapestry for a loved one, a meal cooked for a family. Who will be the patron of such small, unseen arts? Who will collect such pieces into a meaningful collection? The Desert's Curator sees all art... for it is all hers to assess, organize, and collect.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
After thousands of years of being cursed, the Sea of Moving Art has fallen into complete disarray. If Lark won't organize it then someone must. As the Desert's Curator it falls under Akeldama's jurisdiction. Though, getting to know her daughters once more is a bit of a higher priority.
