Nacheevi
Justice Made Blind
A young gnome rushes into their orderly workshop, quickly grabbing an unfinished blueprint. With carefully placed marks and neat notes, the blueprint is completed. And so the wheel turns a notch forward. From behind their elevated podium, a dwarven figure – blinded in one eye – listens carefully to both sides of an argument. They offer a quick prayer, clutching the written book of Law close. A life in prison? Execution? How would blind Justice fall? Adhering to the principles of chaos, disorder, and disarray are for those who lack refinement and intellect. Yet even those who take the lowest hanging fruit have a place within the Ordained Order of the world. Nacheevi serves as the pinnacle of both stability and advancement; an authoritative guide among the pantheon to guide mortals into the next age with every turn of the technological wheel. Nacheevi is most commonly depicted as a dwarf – like the majority of his city's population – with a neatly trimmed beard and pristine robes with not a hair or string out of place. As Justice should be blind, most versions of Nacheevi are adorned with a blindfold or with one or both eyes missing. While the administration of justice may be blind, Nacheevi remains ever vigilant and is believed to see all crimes and inner turmoil when you step within his absent gaze.
Antagonist: Nessa, Ignorance is Bliss.
The Judges of Nacheevi
The most notable members of Nacheevi's religious order are the Judges, individuals who have shown a deep, intricate, and nuanced understanding of the most holy Law. Generally, five individuals serve in this position, but the number of Judges has fluctuated throughout the years based on the needs of the people and the qualifications of those petitioning for the position. Those in the role are expected to uphold the tenets of Nacheevi to near perfection.

Tenets of Faith
Justic Be Blind And Delivered to All – The Law and Justice exist to create and maintain a society where order is upheld so all may thrive within its protective walls. Yet actions taken under the pretense of Justice are often nothing more than thinly veiled malicious attempts at excessive control or vengenace. Followers of Nacheevi must take great care in ensuring that their upholding of Justice is blind and that the law is the standard to which all adhere. Punishments are fair and swiftly delivered, but not with haste. While the Law is both a stable and flexible backbone, take care not to bend it so far that it breaks.
The Ordained Order – Every object, person, place, and thing has a specific role within the world, brought about by ordained pieces in the past and with an ordained path into the future. Therefore, the land, the structures, and the people within them should be respected and revered as important pieces in the higher plan. Those who violate this Ordained Order, however, should face the full wrath of the Law. For disorder and disarray may be briefly tolerated, but it can be the destroyer of higher thought and the weakened, cracked joint that topples monuments, disrupts justice, and brings the wheel of advancement to a stuttering halt.
The Wheel Must Turn – While Nacheevi may embody stability, that does not equate to stagnation. Rather, the wheel must turn, rolling forward into the future. Pursuing knowledge and applying it for the betterment of society – through invention, law, or other philosophical thought – moves the wheel. Adhering to the Ordained Order keeps the wheel balanced and whole. Followers of Nacheevi are taught to identify the points where the wheel may be obstructed and to find remedies to remove them quickly. It is the desire of the Spirit of Advancement to continually drive the continent forward into the next age.
