The Kind Shield

The heavy thudding of steel against steel can be heard as you approach the Kind Shield Blacksmith, coupled with the excited chatter of those gathered around. The solid stone and wood building stand out against the other nearby shops and houses due to the crowd that gathers around it. Outside a young halfling is hammering away at a huge construction, a metallic lionlike statue made entirely of silver. As you approach you hear the crowds that are watching murmer:

• "It cant be can it?"
• "I think it is! Its a Silver Maruarder"
• "But we haven't made those since the war? Why make more now?"

The Local adventurer's blacksmith found in Aruldusk, run by a young halfling called Hubert. Hubert focuses on creating armour and weapons, being so close to the Lightning Rail he primarily finds that adventurers and Soldiers visit him.
