Boundless
General Info
No one is truly certain how Dresden’s shop seems to be infinite and ever-changing, nor how Dresden is able to navigate but they’re not complaining. After all, it is near impossible for a customer to leave empty-handed.
During the daytime, you’ll notice bookshelves that seem to reach up into the clouds, and during the night, you can find cozy corners to read by the light of luminescent spheres and spirans. Visitors are allowed to simply come in and read, with no need to buy anything. Sometimes one can find something they didn’t even know they were looking for, and it seems like a strange type of magic that leaves customers with something every time.
Boundless is well known throughout Alatheia. Windows built into bookcases reveal foreign landscapes, and the shop even has creatures living within. Zylvynes help Dresden take care of the shop, lead visitors to the information they need, and feed off of the energy of the dimension. Spirans light the way during both day and night, glowing softly as they survive off of knowledge itself.
Time passes differently within the shop, and doorways lead to anywhere in the universe; Lyrae, Alatheia, and others unknown.
Dresden's Quarters
With walls lined by even more bookshelves, Dresden’s quarters are cozy. A large bed rests by a floor-length window in the corner, which they now share with Maescia. A loveseat and armchair rest in another small nook, with an energy fueled fireplace to keep the space warm and safe from flames. A case is built into one of the bookshelves to store spare prosthetics while Maescia repairs or cleans their primary prosthetics. Papers and notes are often scattered about, and spirans flock to this room more than anywhere else, drawn to Dresden’s presence and the strong energy of knowledge permeating the air.
The Workshop
Mae’s workshop can be accessed from any door within the dimension as long as one has the correct charm, created by Maescia herself. From a roaring furnace to a drawing desk and material storage, the space itself has everything Mae could ever need to hone her craft.
Maescia keeps her pieces in neatly organized cases, displays, and shelves. Finished pieces are kept in the front to allow clients to explore her work, with a section for them to even try out items they may be interested in. She creates for her own enjoyment as well as to help others, taking commissions from clients.
Pharaoh & Anak
Taken in by Dresden, Anak and Pharaoh live within Boundless as well. Each has their own space within the infinite shelves.
Look up and you will find islands floating high above the shelves with birds of all kinds fluttering about. One island in particular stands out, a large intricately weaved nest sitting atop. Pharaoh spends most of her time here, taking care of her birds and sleeping in her nest.
Search hard enough, and Anak’s nook can be found. Lit up by nearly as many spirans as Dresden’s quarters, the space is closed off from the rest of the shop. It is perpetually night, with a large desk on one end and a round bed set into a bookshelf nook. The desk is covered with bookbinding materials, and nearby shelves are full of both damaged and other media restored by Anak.
The Observatory
Walking through a spacious, stone tunnel, visitors are greeted by an infinitely open expanse. With only an empty sky and a mirror-like floor, the observatory can change to look like any place in the universe. Visitors may explore to their heart’s content, however, keep in mind it is not actually the true place; only a more physical hologram showing the place at present date and time.
Absolutely lovely description. I think I could spend the rest of my days in the Boundless library. I love how bright and magical your world is.

Thank you so much! I often wish I could spend all of my time there too, though I think I might never come out!
