No previous fungicide or other medical treatments for infection/parasites are effective against the plague.

Prognosis

Infection is a death sentence.

Prevention

The best preventative is to cover the body completely to prevent the inhalation or ingestion of spores. Full body PPE, including air filters, are used by anyone who goes near or enters an infected area, or comes into contact with infected material.
