Xunug

​Xunug is the patron chief of The Stormcaller Orcs. Some 70 years ago his father Thokgrim united the Orcs in defense of the Barbarian invasion after the defeat of The Bleeding Moon Clan leader Hortog. Thokgrim brought the tribe under the worship of Gromm the Thunderer, and in the aftermath led the orcs into an era of building and civilization. After his father's death, Xunug took up the mantle of Chief despite the opposition of the Bleeding Moon and the Flame Caller clans.
He is noble, patient and honorable, seeking only what is right for his people. As is common throughout The Lost Lands, the Orcs of the past were warlike and often engaged in ritualistic sacrifice. He put an end to this, and has brought some modern industry to his people that even his father did not dream of. While it took time to convince the surrounding humans to forgive the orcs of their past, once trade was reopened the orcs gained some skills that have greatly aided them. The Orcs
He is the husband to Batul, high shaman of the Stormcaller clan. Together they have a single daughter named Ushat, who is every bit as fiery and rash as her mother. He had a son named Borthral who died years ago, and despite their efforts have not had another child. Until the reign of The Stormcallers the orcs have always been patriarchal, but talk has circulated about Ushat becoming the tribal chieftain some day.
