Hills of Strabo
This stretch of hills is in Aethiope, and its western edge is usually understood to be the border between that country and Meroƫ. Among the hills are two or three long-extinct volcanoes where prospectors have found obsidian. Also located in the hills are deposits of gold and copper and a mostly depleted vein of platinum for which a replacement is most urgently being sought.
