Kaharis River

This short river flows swiftly from the slopes of the Tsendarkar Mountains, joining the Alu River between the cities of Xha’ahan and Jhohir. A famous willow that hangs over the river near the town of Xe’qun is said to be haunted by the spirit of a woman who drowned herself in the river over a faithless lover. If visitors rest at the foot of this willow and tell their own sad tales of lost love, it is believed that the ghost will speak to them and tell them strange secrets.
