As a hill dwarf, you have keen senses, deep intuition, and remarkable resilience. The gold dwarves of Faerûn in their mighty southern kingdom are hill dwarves, as are the exiled Neidar and the debased Klar of Krynn in the Dragonlance setting.

Hill dwarves are the most common dwarves seen living among other races; they also live in small communities in villages, usually among mountains or hills.

Homelands in Western Rodain

The regions of Dolgemar and Hotenben are considered Hill Dwarf territory as their villages are found dotted along the mountainsides and amongst the rolling hills, though they are peaceful to each other they stay separate.
