Déa Kelém (a.k.a. "Cross Déa")

Entering the messenger post, you find a woman at the main desk, looking through a bag of correspondence. She has a thin body, but the shape of her dark green tunic shows that she does have some muscles. As she turns to look at you, you can see the smallness of her face and the light brushstroke of her eyebrows. Glancing to her hands, you can see a small birthmark on one of them before she stashes them out of sight.
"Welcome; I'm Déa." she says sweetly. "Anything I can do for you today?"

Personal history

Dea was born in Freebrook to a pair of brewsters. Her childhood was spent learning her parents' trade, but she wanted to travel and explore the world beyond the town. The opportunity arrived when the local courier was looking for an eventual replacement. Déa jumped at the chance, and while she doesn't do as much travelling as she imagined, she is still living the life of her dreams.

She spent most of her childhood learning the trade secrets of her parents' brewery.

She has some experience as a courier, and knows the safest routes to various parts of the province.

Déa is a very tactile learner, learning through doing the things she wants to learn. This has served her well for knowing the routes to various towns and regions, how to ride over obstacles, or the particulars of her trade.
