Important Note:

Essic and Llenic are nearly indistinguishable from each other due to there being only several generations of division between the two lands.

Writing System

Borrows the Gratic alphabet without alteration.

Geographical Distribution

Confined to Essel province and the Princedom of Llenir, with speakers of the language being rare outside of that area.

Phonology

18 consonants and 7 vowels.

Morphology

-Nouns and adjectives can be in one of four cases (nominative, accusative, dative, or genitive) and one of three genders (masculine, feminine, or neuter).
-Verbs conjugate by number and person

Syntax

SOV, but VSO is used for questions and ability to accentuate objects by putting them at the beginning of the sentence.

Vocabulary

Some similarities with Common Gratic, but generally harsher.
