Gersla Prakklar
In the magical items store, you can see a hunched woman with large glasses behind the main counter. Her large eyes, magnified by the glasses, scan over you as you enter the shop. She then turns back to running a cloth over the counter in a slow circle, her thin and bony arms not able to move quickly. She has long dark hair that goes down her back, although it is spotted with grey patches throughout.
"Hello." she says in a kind and worn-out voice. "Welcome to Gersla's Magical Wares. Is there something I can help you with?"

Apparel & Accessories
She is commonly dressed in a short brown robe, a souvenir of her time at the University.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Gersla was born in Essenburg to a pair of day labourers. Her magical abilities became apparent at a very young age, and she was quickly trained in them by a local group of mages. She was very interested in rebellion as a teen, using her abilities to play tricks on the guards and help out local rebel groups. On one occasion, she got into a fight with a guard and was arrested. At that point, she was sent to Fort Entwood, where she had to hide her abilities from the other inmates of that prison.
After being released a couple of years later, she used her knowledge of potions and enchantments to open up a store like this at Fort Entwood's small town. Over the years, she has made her way across the Empire, selling enchanted weapons and armour to adventurers and potions to townsfolk. At some point, her travels brought her to Gratic City, where she attended The University to increase her knowledge of magic and its properties. After that, she came to Plainér Town, and settled down to run a small shop there.
The Drakeslayers went to her shop to identify a magical potion that they had discovered.
Morality & Philosophy
Gersla knows what it's like to be the underdog, and she constantly looks out for the little guy. She has an innate distrust of the authority of the Empire, although she no longer believes in the rebellion she was a part of in her youth. She isn't above practical jokes and silliness, although she understands that professionalism is key in her job.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Gersla's dreams were dashed when she was arrested as a child, and now she doesn't fight for any grand ideals anymore.

Vices & Personality flaws
Hygiene
She keeps herself very clean, and her favourite jokes involve making people dirty or smelly.
Social
Religious Views
Like many traditional Essic people, Gersla has a small shrine to her ancestors in her home for the purposes of worship. She doesn't understand the religion of the Four except in broad terms and isn't interested in it.
Social Aptitude
She is rather charismatic and witty, which makes it easy for her to befriend others. She has a lot of nerve based on the things she has done in her life, and her advanced age doesn't seem to slow her down.
Speech
She has a voice that seen long use, and she commonly smiles while she talks.
Wealth & Financial state
Due to the slow traffic in magic in this part of the Empire, Gersla doesn't make a lot of money from her wares. That being said, she is hardly poor, as she takes what isn't selling in Plainér Town to the capital for sale there. Her house is very nice, and is guarded by a series of magical traps.
