Alkay

Alkay is the Westernmost continent of Errath, sitting across the Ahventiel ocean from the Midlands. For millennia it was the only continent not connected to the rest of the March by trade. The native elves believe that this is because the goddess Corellana kept it hidden. Whether true or not, the continent's isolation ended when a Yorlish explorer landed early in the age of discovery. Soon the continent was colonized by midland merchant companies. Called Ali'akae by the elves, meaning 'The Sunset lands', the common name comes from the first Yorland explorers.
