Government
Ruled by Baron Graham Solowburne, with assistance from the Arch-Shaman of the Vulture Masked Batul and the High-Priestess of the Raven Masked Aiyal Starfingers. The Archshaman is heavily involved in the city's military, and the Baron often defers to her judgement and wisdom.
Defences
Two outer-walls, made of limestone. A well trained and outfitted military force. A small contingent of Vulture warriors. The section of the city with the keep and much of the upper classes estates is surrounded by an old-style clay brick wall which has been partially melted and re solidified, and the keep is itself is an old-style roundfort with multiple levels and the outer-wall is partially melted as well.
Industry & Trade
Large amounts of wheat are shipped and sold to the Court city, sold to nobility for steep prices, and clay and stone bricks are made and sold more locally in thep ikor region, though trade has stalled with the loss of national soldier protection, with many people from the outlying villages having fled to the city, and those that remained having fortified their positions and holed up.
Infrastructure
Dyrfund has a functional sewer, keep, and a large steel statue of a vulture with its wings spread wide. There are two open marketplaces, plots of wheat within the walls, a large branching underground mausoleum run by the shamans of the Vulture, a guild of street-cleaners, The tower Astronimica, al arge tower used for the study of stars, controlled by the Raven masked priesthood. There are several flour mills and bakeries, as well as brick factory.
