The Lady Nivene is one of the Ladies of the Lake. Sir Bradwen, Sir Gaius, and Sir Monroe met her when she was imprisoned in the castle of Lady Siefe and acquired a golden apple for her that allowed her to break out and free her lake from Lady Siefe's enchantment. She gave each of them a gift and gave Excalibur to Merlin. Nineve took Maylene's daughter Yvonne away to be trained by the Ladies of the Lake.
