Military action
Sir Felix, desperate for funds thanks to the Saxon demand for tribute, hires himself out as a mercenary to King Idres of Cornwall. He is severely injured in the fighting.
Word reached Salisbury that both King Idres of Cornwall and Praetor Joanthel of Dorsette were hiring mercenaries as King Idres made plans to invade Dorsette. Earlier in 500 A.D., the Saxon princes of Sussex and Kent had returned to Salisbury and demanded more crushing payments of tribute. This left Sir Felix close to desitute and so he hired himself out as a knight to King Idres. The year's warfare did not go well for King Idres, who was repelled, if barely, by Praetor Jonathel. Sir Felix, for his part, was gravely injured in the fighting.
