Session 11: Are we there yet? Report

General Summary

Having vanquished the Baron and werewolves of the Dragon's Breath Tavern, our adventurers set off for Secomber. Barring a minor werewolf problem en route, the adventurers arrived in Secomber and settled into a well-earned bout of excessive drinking at the Inn of the Welcome Wench. The Wench is run by Vesta, daughter of the original owner. While the adventurers settled into their drink and meal, they were "serenaded" by Redithidoor, an elven bard of questionable ability. Emmanuel gave some impromptu lessons for which Redithidoor was very grateful.   Aside from the testy and cold barmaid, Meridosa, the party also met Chatrilon Unosh an itinerant adventurer. Chatrilon argued that there was not much to be found at the moathouse, a nearby ruin.   At some point in the evening a drunken Garadin and Khusrov stumbled over to the Druid's Grove and were confronted by Yundi, the druid Jaroo's youthful assistant. Yundi convinced them to return to the Wench and sleep off their over-exuberance. Before this, however, they had a 'roadie' at the bar and met Xaod the Slayer, a man also over-fond of drink.   The next day found the adventurers exploring the town. Moonlight and Beaufort went back to the grove to meet with the old druid. He was indeed old and suggested that they wait for Elmo to return.   Garadin travelled to the Temple of Torm where he spoke with Cannoness Y'Dey and learned of her wariness towards the old Temple and Moathouse. She too suggested that Elmo might have more information to offer.   Finally a stop by Spugnoir's potions (run by his wee daughter) revealed not much in the way of information, but at least knowledge of potions on offer and their prices.   A new day breaks and our adventurers must now decide to seek out Elmo or take their fate into their own hands.
