Lukonna (a.k.a. She of the Lovers)

Lukonna is the goddess of passion, luck, and intoxication. She encourages her followers to take chances, as she revels in the thrill. She watches over burgeoning love and lust, guiding lovers and protecting establishments such as brothels.
Her holy day, called the Day of Chance, is the first Aldoxia winking sky of the year. It is often celebrated with enthusiastic excess in partying, drinking, and gambling.

Appearance

She is depicted as a muscular woman with her black hair in beaded braids. She wears a dress of layered sheer fabrics, and often appears wild-eyed and windswept.

Places of worship

Lukonna has shrines in every major city and many towns.

• Her temple in Fenellore is the House of Grace 

Worshippers

Amongst her worshippers are artists, poets, sex workers, and some dancers. Additionally, much of the human aristocracy of Fenellore worship her.

A winking sky is when one of the two moons (Aldoxia and Razia) is full while the other is new. The first time in a year that Aldoxia is the new moon in a winking pair is Lukonna's holy day.
