Rainyard

The Rainyard is a district in the Castellan Capital. The Rainyard contains most of the inns and taverns of the Capital, not to mention the abundant entertainment houses. A few of the roads, the most notable of them being Bell Way, are considered seedy and scandalous places to be seen. Some parts are outright unsafe at night. The Rainyard is the westernmost district inside the walls, starting from the docks and extending from the coastline down along Sunset Road. On the other side of the walls is the wealthy Sunwards.
A decent amount of artisans set up in the Rainyard, taking advantage of the far more generous prices than that of the Castellan Square. It is well known that quite a few of the fine establishments around Castellan Square started out with a shop in the Rainyard.

Notable Locations

Many taverns line the roads of the Rainyard, from the esoteric Tinkerer Tibbit’s Tavern and Tankard to more standard watering holes. The less reputable establishments are along Bell Way, among them a hookah den, a wrestling ring, and a couple music halls. The music halls offer all sorts of enteraiments from from baudy theatre plays, minstrel shows and country dances.
Hana's Emergency Vulnerarium is nestled in the middle of the Rainyard, a hospital open day and night. The Vulnerarium specializes in emergency aid and cursebreaking, and are popular in spite of their unorthodox methods.
Deaddrop Pier can be found along the waterline. Despite warnings, not a month goes by without a tourist discovering yet another body at the pier.
