Pre-Campaign Session - Finding a new Settlement

General Summary

An immigration expert named Bhaskar Distan'Vwaje facilitated a meeting between four factions who were all looking to settle a new frontier for their own reasons.     The Naturalist faction was a diverse group of humanoids who needed access to forests and coasts, away from the big cities of industrialized areas.   The Refugee faction sought a place where they could be free to be themselves without fear of prosecution.   The Truth Seekers were a faction of explorers who wanted to learn the histories of cultures long forgotten. These people started the New Frontiers Guild.   The Libertarians worshiped an entire pantheon of goodly gods and sought a land where everyone was invited to join any church that suited them, or none at all if they desired. They were not concerned with growing their numbers and influence, but cared more about studying the precepts of the gods they worshipped to discover each individual's purpose in life.   After a week of festivities, the facton leaders choose their destination: an estuary along the Aragath Sea comprised of a freshwater lake, a brakish lake and a bay that opened to the sea. Bhaskar transported five hundred settlers aboard his magical flying palace. There they said goodbye and parted ways. To pay for Bhaskar's services, the Libertarian clerics agreed to take a burden of Bhaskar's, which they placed in a place of honor.
