Bhaskar Distan'Vwaje
Bhaskar was a "civilization engineer" in an age long past. He worked with many groups of diverse settlers to bootstrap settlements after the Arkhosian-Turathi Wars.
Heroes contacted Bhaskar when they discovered the Aufklarung Hexabeyance and met him twice more after acquiring Erathis' Charter and Zeitundraum.
Bhaskar revealed that he once had a vision of the destruction of Io's Wheel, a magical gate created by Io, the progenitor of dragonkind. If the wheel stopped turning a rift to the Far Realm would open, merging our planes with that of nightmares.
Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon was the key to keeping the wheel turning. Bhaskar put plans in place to resurrect the god if he was ever destroyed. To do so he collaborated with gods and archfey to create the Hexabeyance, sixteen magical artifacts that would give the spark of life back to the dead god.
When Bahamut was defeated by his twin sister Tiamat at the conclusion of the Scales of War, Io's Wheel began to stall. Constellations shifted, stars realigned themselves or fell from the sky completely. The Hexabeyance needed to be found.
