The Cataclysm

The Cataclysm is the name given to the collection hyper-destructive phenomenon that is adversely affecting the multiverse.
Little is known about the origins of the Cataclysm, its mechanics or its limits. It seems to be survivable (in that it doesn't outright destroy a universe) but it is also reoccurring. The Cataclysm seems to have adverse affects on Deities.

The Cataclysm is affecting every universe in unique ways.

Oceropa

The Cataclysm has caused the astral plane to go haywire, causing it to violently impose itself upon the material plane. The denizens of Oceropa have called the phenomenon "The Maw". The Maw seems to follow The Historical Tower and it the reason why the tower moves in the first place.

Nemorla

In Nemorla, the Cataclysm is one of the names given to The Expansion, a phenomenon in which Nemorla's material plane, Tír nAill has begun expanding into other planes. Though a slow process, The Expansion has led to an irreparable change in the local enviornment.

Albicant

Due to the efforts of its deity and denizens, Albicant survived its initial Cataclysm at the cost of much devastation. Albicant, experienced several back-to-back climate shifts, leaving most of the universe in either scorching desert or frozen wasteland.
