The Broker

The Broker is a hacker and information broker native to the Chang-Er System in the Pariah Sector. He has become extremely sucessful in manipulating both sides of the civil war in the system, and their benefactors, through the broad use of obtaining and selling information that is difficult, or outright impossible to obtain from other sources available to Chang-Er. This has allowed the Broker an inordinate amount of influence, if not power, locally, as he makes a good deal of money connecting civil war participants with vital intelligence, and black marketeers with eager buyers for advanced military hardware.
Relatively little is known about The Broker's personal life, as they have done a good job covering their tracks, however it is assumed they are in a position of relatively privilege given that they almost certainly have access to technology, particularly computer technology far more advanced than the early space age computing that is the norm in Chang-Er, something that the broker ruthlessly exploits to their own advantage. The activities of The Broker has attracted the attention of Chang-Er's government, and that of the State of Pariah, and they have put out a considerable bounty on their head, though even those states seek out, and benefit from the Broker's intelligence.
