Seth Jaravhe

Seth Jaravhe was born as a member of the travelling librarians. From old  he belongs to one of the oldest families of librarians. Yet in the time of his life such an ancestorage commonly ment very little.
As it was proper for a boy of his stand he learnd to read and write iwith young age. He also learned about many other things that can only be taught by librarians as such knowledge was lost to all others in these days. Only in the few books that had survived the fall of the library there remained a small fraction of the knowledge that had not so many generations ago been freely accessible to mankind.

For the time young Jaravhe lived in it can be said that he had a carefree childhood. He rarely straved and to most simple illnesses there was a cure. He heard many stories of the old glorious days.
One shadow in his life however was there that was only his to bear: An ancient curse in his family that had caused his grandfather to go insane many years before his birth. The old man was still alive in Jaravhe´s youth. He kept on telling anyone that would listen about mythical creatures and that magic had caused the darkening of the sky. Often people looked at young Jaravhe with mistrust as if they expected him to go crazy as well just from listening to the old man. But the boy was determined not to do so.

When the day came that the librarians deemed the time ripe to seek for the remains of the ancien library again - for their books were getting old and tattered as were they and few years later they would have surely been only a memory as was the library itself by now - he voluntered to aid the much older librarians and was after some discussions allowed to go with them to lead the packhorse.

The day they left the main caravan was the beginning of his greatest adventure.
