The Mountain Dwarves, members of a resilient and ancient race. Unlike their nomadic breathern Hill Dwarves, Mountain Dwarves thrive deep within the rugged heart of the mountains, within the magnificent strongholds, Emberhold as their capital city and home to their King.
Like all Dwarves, these sturdy beings possess exceptional craftsmanship, excelling in metallurgy, stone-carving, and the art of creating enchanted runes. Their intricate, elaborate designs embellish their mighty citadels and ornate armors, making them a sight to behold.
Led by the wise and venerable King Dvalin, whose beard rivals even the most imposing waterfalls, the Mountain Dwarves revere their ruler as a living link to the ancient progenitors of their kind. Under his reign, they have known prosperity and stood united against external threats, as well as the occasional internal strife.
