Cosmology of Heimar

Heimar isn't another solar system or another galaxy, but what is called another realm. Realms act as varying realities within the material plane. To say a realm is a parallels dimension would be inaccurate as each realm is unique. Each one consists of it's own cosmos, full of unique galaxies, solar systems, stars, planets, and lifeforms. Even cosmological laws vary across the realms. While no two are exactly alike, some have incredibly similar signatures, while others are completely unlike anything else found in the cosmos. Heimar itself is composed of many celestial bodies, but our story revolves around a relatively small cluster of nine planets connected by a transporter system called the Bi frost Gate. As they were the supremely dominant power in their corner of the cosmos, each of these nine worlds was and is connected to Old Aesir in some fashion. Some of these planets are also home to Worldsouls.
