Gieljed

Gieljed is one of the Cluster Islands, facing the Eastern Gap. Its elongated and pinched shape, combined with its position relative to Pudarog, gives it the nickname "the Heel". Both islands together are known as "the Footprint".

Geography

Gieljed is one of the smaller islands in the Cluster.  As an edge island, it has only one conduit access point.

History

Gieljed's economy was devastated following the eruption of Pudarog. Ash plumes blocked direct sunlight for days, and left a thick layer of debris, damaging machinery and killing most vegetation.
