The Captain
The Captain is a weird rank. First, he does not have an official contract. Second, he can be authorized by The Right-Hand Man, not just The Boss, like the other ranks. Lastly, Captains don't last for every long. The longest known Captain served for ten years before retiring. I don't understand why that is. It's a perfectly fine rank.
Qualifications
First, step to being a Captain is to be a good Soldier. You must have been a really good Soldier for several years, and a very good one. I feel like I need to clarify, because teams can have quite a few Soldiers, so just being a "good" one does not always cut it.
But along with being a good Soldier, one must be very proficient in several roles like The Gun-Man or The Hacker. Because a Captain can be and will be in charge of dozens of Soldiers at a time, he must also have experience leading in some fashion, which one could get if they are proficient in whatever role they are in.
Responsibilities
Because each Captain is in charge over a certain number of Soldiers, Hackers, Gun-Men, etc., he must be able to command his team well. Once he has his orders from (usually) The Right-Hand Man, it his up to him to make sure his "team" understands the instructions and their role as a whole unit.
The Captain is also in charge of routinely training and re-training his team. Whether it be yearly, monthly, weekly, or daily, the Captain is in charge of making sure his unit is always in tip-top shape.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
A Captain can only be removed if 3/5 of his unit is displeased with his leadership and can show clear proofs for their displeasure. Or if The Boss or Right-Hand Man relieves him of his rank.
