History
The first settlement on Ophelia VII, the city's original name is not recorded. It was built on a the mouth of the River coming down from the Mountains, the place where the Emperor met with the leader of the colonization fleet and issued His edict concerning the Mountains. The city was renamed Saint Laertes (after the first Cardinal-Governor of Ophelia VII) by Constantinus during his consolidation of power.
Geography
The city sits at the mouth of the Steel River Valley, at the foot of the Mountains.
