Fire Eligni

With seeming campfires atop their heads, Fire Eligni often stand out even amongst Elgini-kind. One of the "original" four Eligni types, Fire Elgini are characterised by their warm skin tones reminiscent of blazing fires, with hair to match; hair that appears to glow and crackle, moving and flickering just as real fire might. Fire Eligni bare intense spirits and hold burning passions, and combined with the comfortable warmth that many give off, they make for some of the best companions and strongest friends. A Fire Eligni that finds themselves able to embody their element may grow to be able to control the strength and spread of a blaze, throw burning projectiles or wreathe their weapons in flame, even going so far as to shrug off flesh wounds as they push themselves onward with the fire that burns within.
Fire Elgini are found in all kinds of roles throughout the Belt, but the most famous is Elliot Peiskos, the Fire Eligni Saint, known often as "The Shepard". Elliot is known for being a true leader and for giving all he had. Elliot, and his wife, Posie Kille, founded a small Eligni settlement in the Third Age, hoping to forge a sanctuary on the edge of the Great Forest. However, this dream was lost when the village was attacked by creatures from the trees. Elliot defended his flock till his last, losing an arm in the ordeal as he used his scythe to push back the monsters and give his people time to flee. Sadly, he and Posie were lost, Elliot fighting to his final breath until he perished. Only a single villager fell from this siege, and Elliot is remembered for his undying strength and will to defend others.
