Vera

A member of The Royal Eyes and handler for Adelaide ir'Laurent. Vera is a defector from Breland, captured while working for the Dark Lanterns, the intelligence service of Breland. When she was offered a deal, her life for information, she accepted, and Aundair saw a use for her in cross-country operations. As a Brelish citizen, she could move freely within Breland's borders. Aundair granted her citizenship in secret, and she was inducted into the Royal Eyes of Aundair. She overcame mistrust by proving herself to be a reliable operative, and although her actions were highly controlled at first, decades later no one would doubt her loyalty.
Now retired from field work, Adélaïde received much of her training from Vera and reports to her regularly. She has orchestrated the ocassional mission for The Dragonhawk Initiative, especially when espionage or sensitive diplomatic work is required.
