Voroc Erdek

A hobgoblin man in his early 20's, Voroc is a fey liason for The Dragonhawk Initiative, experienced in dealing with the various courts and forces of Thelanis that are present in the world. A very old Aundairan tradition, Voroc is a young but respected member of the Guild of Moonlight and Shadows, and is a capable diplomat, illusionist and enchanter.
Voroc is the son of a mercenary captain, his family only emigrating from Darguun to Aundair a generation ago. After he found he had an aptitude for arcane arts over martial skill, his father leveraged a good reputation among the military - and a significant amount of wealth - to ensure Voroc could attend Arcanix and its academies.
Briefly being caught up in the Beacon Incident four years earlier, he and his family were almost arrested by the treasonous Adal ir'Wynarn, while Voroc was forced to flee the country. After Adal's coup attempt was foiled, Voroc and his family were welcomed back to Aundair and Arcanix with open arms. But, the incident exposed Voroc to the wider world, showing him the variety of magical disciplines that were out there. After brief stints trying artificing, conjuration, and war magic, his uncle helped him connect with an archfey named Threnode, and Voroc sealed a pact for teaching in exchange for information and service.
