Fromatian Vanguard

Purpose: The Vanguard is the biggest mercenary guild on the Outer Layer. It acts as a autonomous company that sees their mercenaries are employees and represents them in negotiations and also is a trust for their holdings.
Influence: Small towns and villages usally contract out of the vanguard due to its monopoly in the field. The vanguard is the only martial guild that has a no questions asked policy and is non discriminatory to those who have the coin. Larger towns and even nations contract special forces or even whole companies of soldeirs out of the Vanguard to limit their own army losses.
Leadership: The vanguard is led my the Guildmaster which is eleected democratically. The guildmaster dosen't need tp have a martial background but it wouldn't hurt in the electrion proces.
Membership: To maintain membership statues within the Vanguard, soldeirs must work as a mercenary and pay their dues. There are also logistical jobs other members can take like supply chain protection, raw material acuisistion, and others
Titles and Recognition: Under the Guild master are several ranks of a chain of command both for commsioned and non-commisioned officers. For COs, from highest to lowest is Highlord, Tower, Commander, Captain, and Ensign. For NCOs, from highest to lowest is Seargent Major of the Highlord, Tower Seargent, First Seargent, Master Seargent, Seargent first class, Seargent, Lancer, Initiate.
Internal Conflict and Politics: The Fromatian Vanguard, with its sprawling influence and democratic leadership, is a hotbed of political maneuvering. Tensions simmer over the guild's electoral process, where factions clash and accusations of corruption emerge. Its monopoly on force and "no questions asked" policy stir ethical debates among the ranks, while the CO and NCO divide fosters a culture of rivalry over promotions and recognition. Disputes about member dues and the equitable distribution of wealth from mercenary contracts threaten to fracture the unity, and external pressures from rival guilds intensify the internal strife. All the while, the Vanguard's dominance hangs in the balance as it navigates the delicate dance of power and principle.
