The Midas, a title of the patriarch or matriarch of the House, leads House Torel. The guild's power is kept solely within the Torel family because only a Torel can open their vaults.

Titles and Recognition:
The Gold Branch of House Torel consists of the Title of Midas, is the highest position within the guild, and has almost complete control over the wealth held by the guild. under the Midas, a small council of personal advisors within the Torel family keeps the Midas updated on current events and trends. The council of advisors can change or choose the Midas within House Torel but must commune with their ancestors beforehand. Below the advisors are the many service jobs the guild offers (accountants, advisors, bankers, etc). The Silver Branch of House Torel consists of Whisper keeper(s) title and sees over the guild's secret affairs. under the Whisper Keeper is the silver web, a complex web of informants that inform the Whisper Keeper(s) of information relevant to the guild's affairs. The whisper keeper also holds a spot among the personal advisors to inform Midas of potential threats or opportunities.
Internal Conflict and Politics:
Within the opulent halls of House Torel, intrigue, and ambition run as deep as the mines that underpin their vast wealth. The Midas reigns supreme, but the game of power is played behind the gilded curtains by the small council of advisors, each vying to influence the Midas and secure their lineage's future. Conflicts often arise over financial decisions that can sway the balance of economies, with the prestigious Gold Branch members orchestrating market fluctuations and bankrolling wars. The Silver Branch operates in the shadows, where Whisper Keepers and their intricate network of informants wrestle with the burden of secrets that serve the Keeper of Whispers. Disputes are shared between branches, each spying on the other to gain favor over the Midas. Disputes usually entail bankrolling two sides of the same war to see who wins, causing massive damage to some local or national economy to prove a point, etc. The Midas is also no stranger to pettiness and corruption. With almost complete control over the spoils of Torel, the many Midases have been anywhere from hedonistic to sadistic and cruel. mongers that are nigh untouchable due to their wealth and power over the Fromatian Vanguard
