Vathmir's journey led him to become the Patriarch of the House of Madness, known as The Imperator and the Architect of the slave elves. As a practitioner of the vile Aetheric arcane, he created the first rift that resulted in the first Calamity, forever altering the course of history. His mastery of dark magic and his ambition for conquest and domination defined his existence, making him a figure of terror and power.
Ordeal: Vathmir's pursuit of power through the Aetheric arcane ultimately led to his downfall. His arcane practices went awry, sundering his mortal and ethereal forms and transforming him into a malformed creature of pure insane horror. Despite this horrific transformation, his conscience and thought remain intact, driving him to constantly plot his victory over the other lords with whom he shares his realm.
Responsibilities: As the Lord of Conquest and Domination, Vathmir's responsibilities lie in his unyielding pursuit of control and power. Unlike other lords, he did not create his own realm but instead finds himself in the depths of the 9 Hells, bordering The Pit.
