The People's Fall and their Rise

The violent deaths and accensions of Voa and Monty not only infected the world of rage, hate, and blight but also left a massive power vacuum in the North and the South prompting the dissolution both Governments.

2200   Soon after the death of their leaders, the North and south slowly began to break apart and claiming fiefdoms within their respective borders. To the South, The Golden Sickle Company, Carp Mercenaries, and Dusk antiquities formed the Golden Sickle Hegemony taking over the Emerald Vale region. Mulath created a city within his body and Formed Mulath the Eternal. His body had deposited large amounts of necram and mythril ore. With the Tur Leaf clan leading the clans in the Abolan forest, The Forebear and Wood elevn clans sealed their borders to outlanders, preventing trade and passage to nonursine or wood-elven peoples. The southern factions entered into a Cold War of sorts after the North pulled out of the South.   To the North, Drelin and his party, The Fromatian Worker's Collective, kept hold of Caranthir, now named Harmon Prolitaria. The populist Anthroprimacy party retreated after a month-long political battle ending in a bloody riot within the majority of Human districts. The Anthroprimacy party members founded Silvercap and Brin. The smaller of the three parties, the Neoliberal Free Market Vanguard, Stayed within the walls, capitulating with whatever party seemed to be winning at the time. The Free Market Vanguard was ultimately pushed out of the Capital to the West Coast City of Durdal. Drelin enlisted the help of Voa's previous Military generals to lead the people's military. The area between Durdal, Prolitaria, Silvercap, and Brin became no man's land between the warring factions.   2200-2212   Drelin was aided with ore and materials by his old friend Mulath. In turn, he formed the Earth elemental about Drelinism, spiring Mulath to develop a similar form of the centralized industrial economy within his body. Drelin and Mulath collaborated on numerous projects and traded aid for years, creating the Covenant of Common Rock. All of this peaked when artificers from Mulath and scholars from Prolitaria, The Common Rock, discovered the energy potential of distilled necram. With the trade with Mulath and the power of a collective people, Drelin began planning the Arcane Soul project, which needed him campaigning to cool the war to what the Southern factions had going on.   In the south, the Clans in the Abolan forest had begun a civil war between the Tur Leaf Clan and the Copper Claw clan. The Copper Claws thought the Forest should open trade with the other faction to further ease tensions. He was informed by his hand to the Archdruid, Lyria Nightblossom. The defenders of the Forest joined the Copper Claw Clan and pushed Turleaf out of his position. Ursalys Whisperwood became the high archdruid and opened the Forest for trade.   2212-2228   After the war cooled, Drelin began sending in fake defectors, both a facade that the government was not as strong as it seemed and sending in some scholars of necram to have each of the other factions discover the energy potential of distilled necram. This was all done to bloat the confidence within each nation. While each section worked on its necram reactors, Drelin began pushing hard to develop a powerful artisan force to build reliable automatons for labor. He made a complex under Prolitaria Called the Arcane Heart with the help of Elementals from Mulath. The Arcane Soul expanded throughout the northern part of Fromata, including cities under the enemy faction. Once they had become reliant on the Necram reactors, Drelin traded their advanced automation for what the capitalist nations thought to be a steal. Little did they know that once used in their reactors, the automaton would take over, turning off their only energy source. After the reactors were taken, The People's Military would move in and secure the cities. When the time came, Drelin contacted the worker parties within the factions to spy and overthrow their governments.   2228-2245   The automatons made in Proliteria were unmatched in quality, with one model virgin on omnipotence. Designed by Drelin himself, The Tolstoy was a humanoid model nicknamed the Faceless because it had a smooth plate for a face and was a helper model for artisans and craftsmen. Their strength,-, surgeon steady hands, and multitool fingers allowed Proletarian and Capitalist art to explode in style and popularity. Art was no longer limited to the artist's skill but only their imagination. However, as The Faceless remained in their environment, they would develop curiosity and grow into a person. Drelin saw this as an unintended miracle of his plan and drafted and changed laws to fit the new people he and his fellow artificers created. The oldest and first model of The Faceless, named Vox Machina, became the one to represent and lead their new people in this world. Drelin and his political colleagues disbanded the FWC and created The Unity, reflecting the hive mind-like state of the Faceless and the collectivist nature of Prolitaria. Some Faceless even joined the Arcane Soul project, which facetraked it up a decade due to sentient automatons working in enemy territory. The Faceless were pushed even more onto the side of the Unity after experiencing the harsh conditions that both conscious and nonsentient automatons faced in these cities.   The Cold War had completely ended in the South, and even labor conditions improved with the introduction of automatons from the North. The Golden Sickle Hegemony had gone under new management with an ambitious Sun Elven lord named Theron Sylvanranth taking over the reins. The scars from the civil war had healed, and trade between the three nations and the northern factions was prosperous. The Southern nations maintained a pact of Neutrality with the South, which Mulath did not follow secretly. A high artificer of Gormant named Throthmekri took issue with this lie and was silenced by Mulath, or so he thought.   2245-2250   The Arcane Soul project began its final phase after automaton outnumbered staff in the necram reactors. The first night of the last step, called the rude awakening, started at midnight. Both nations woke up to no power and were fumbling to find a reason why until they could not enter the necram plants. That afternoon, their scouts saw a sea of Silver troops with black banners marching across no man's land. The People's Military swept the other nations that had to fight the People's Military and the proletarian coups in their borders. The illusion that Drelin concocted made the capitalist countries lazy in their military, still using crude and cheap rune powder arm cannons going against state-of-the-art revolving necram powder rifles and pistols. This ended the Northern Cold War and was the inception of The Northern Unity. After the cities were taken and the Cold war was done, the Anthroprimacy party members were taken to trail for their beileif and imprsioned. Their imprisonment ended when a mysterious fire erupted on the convoy back to Prolitaria. Drelin stopped there and focused on spreading the word of Drelinism to the south through Mulath to sow worker empowerment in the Golden Sickle Hegemony. The only thing keeping Drelinism from sinking into the South was that the Leaders of the South were good to their people.   As the Northern Unity began to cement its grasp on the North, Drelin left his position as Chancellor and began to ponder the downfall of the old PRF to prevent the Northern Unity joining the same fate. He saw both the confident and secret human supremacist groups as the Cancer that it is as a half-elven man and the weak willed politicans who didn't hold the south after the rebellion leading to the death of Voa. Drelin also saw that Voa was the only thing holding the PRF together and now he had replaced that position. With the help of Vox Machina, Drelin began to avert attention from himself and work within secret, as well as propping up others to provide new perspectives on the Unity. He crafted a mask that would allow him to shapeshift into anyone or thing he wanted to be, acting as advisors, local political figures, etc. He enlisted the help of some of the Faceless to copy his mind and act on his behalf as other shapeshifters. This became the Drelianic order, a secret society of Faceless and changlings to ensure the progress the Northern Unity represents.
