Hado Denn (heɪdoʊ dɛn / HAY-doh den)

A kindly fisherman and trader from Good Mead, Hado is a short human man appearing to be somewhere in his late 60s. He sports an impressive mustache and short straight hair, both of which - despite his advanced years - are the jet black tone common to many of the indigenous peoples of Icewind Dale.   Hado is well known to the residents of southern Ten-Towns, around which he regularly travels on his haulage sled (pulled by his eight Frozenfar Malamir sled dogs; Tolg, Atla, Ulfer, Ataid, Vas, Belot, Inga, and Iss), and he regularly tells tall tales to any that will listen, that seem either inherited, or entirely fictitious.

History

Hado lost his house in the destruction of Good Mead  by the verbeeg, Duhg on the 3rd of the Claw of Winter 1489, leading to a brief stay at his cousin's home in Caer-Dineval. Within a few days, this was discovered by Sariel, who quickly bribed the builders in Good Mead to have the house repaired more quickly. The building work was concluded by the 23rd of the Claw of Winter, 1489.
