The Void
The Void is the space beyond The Pelexat Galaxy's Outer Ring and is the most common name given to intergalactic space.
The Void is almost a complete vacuum with very little in the way of dust, debris or even energy. It is exceptionally hard to map, as the galactic centre acts as an anchor for the coordinate system used by most intelligent species in Pelexat, and because the galaxy itself is moving, anything outside of its gravitational pull in the void will appear to have inconsistent or changing coordinates. this fact, combined with the unfathomably large distances between the galaxies, is why even with warp drives, the Void has never been crossed to reach other galaxies.
