The Pride Lands

3rd Day of Kelivat in 847 IE

Created by

The Pride is our crew of daring hero's, they live in a world called: The Shattered Isles :

The Shattered Isles suffered a Cataclysm when the sun was shattered, plunging the world into perpetual darkness. The suns remnant burn weakly in the sky only seen at dawn and dusk, producing only a dull glow like a dying flame.   The Moon looms huge and bright, swelling with each passing year, as if drawn closer.   The ancient stars still hang in the black sky, though their arrangements sometimes swirl and change.   During the cataclysm the oceans turned black a new realm of constellations appeared in its depths, somehow seen clearly despite the waves. This black void with the crushing black sky upon black water and stars dancing above and below has sent sailors mad.   Eons ago, before the cataclysm the world was a wonderful, bright place full of magic and wonder, where heroes walked and defeated evil. These time have long since past, now The world is ruled by the Immortal Emperor, from Imperial CITY, Imperium oversees everything, its a desperate struggle to survive if your not wealthy.
Supernatural beings:Spirits, twisted echos of animals and plants, demons and other dreadful things roam in the vast majority of the world, people are protected in the Imperiums cities behind Lightening Barriers.   The Shattered Isles have wildly different climates due to magical forces from the Cataclysm.   The Pride are our "heroes" a vigilante gang: made up of diverse characters, who for various reasons want to change the dark world of corruption they live in. Some for altruistic reasons, others for selfish reasons, some have a checkered past and want to do good instead of persecute the poor. Can our crew be good in this rotten dark world or will they turn to its dark side.   Gangs rule the streets of poor neighborhoods, workers die from strange afflictions, orphans disappear, farther afield protections are failing and the rich protect themselves in elite districts surrounded by top security.
