Stepish
Before the Fomorian Kingdoms, the Moorish and Stepish were the same ethnicity of human. Herding livestock from pasture to pasture from the Thunder Steps to the Golden Rush River, and navigating the rivers in large flat bottomed boats. When the fomorians conqured the Orchards, the Moorish and Stepish were cut off from each other.
Steps tend towards dark hair that is either straight or wavy, and skin that ranges from pale to tanned. Eye color can have quite the range, from blue to brown, with green being uncommon. Men wear their beards to a medium length, and often waxed and styled.
The Steps often refer to themselves as 'Thunderborn", or "Men of the high plains". Others may call them "Rainmen" or "Riders"
