The Bottomless Feather
The Brothers, hoping to find a lead on their long lost father ventured to a high-end haberdashery called The Bottomless Feather. Kole Sheersmith, a renowned haberdasher, greeted them warmly and listened to their story with great interest. According to Kole their was a man fitting their description with a particular fondness for red berets. He then revealed that approximately 3 to 4 months earlier, the man was in his shop looking to repair his worn beret. Kole convinced him that with the amount of wear it would be faster and cheaper to buy a new beret. The man agreed and had purchased a new beret to replace his worn one. Kole being a true artist provided the brothers a sketch of the man.   Sir Lesley, being the most fashion-conscious among them, immediately purchased a red beret to match their father's. The brothers were filled with hope and excitement as they set out to follow the trail of the mysterious man with the red beret who may be their father.
The Ornate Blacksmith
The Brothers, ventured to the outskirts of Penkurth, searching for dwarves that could potentially help decipher the Dwarven Runic Map written in ancient dwarven runes. The Brothers went to the Ornate Blacksmith shop, hoping to find someone who could help them.   They spoke to Dalir Leadfinder, the master blacksmith, and explained their situation. Dalir examined the mao and revealed that the ancient dwarven runes appeared to be written in a guild cypher. Excited by this discovery, the Brothers asked for Dalir's help in deciphering the map. Dalir declined, as he was was not familiar with the cypher this map was written in.   Ute was bartered for an exceptionally crafted glaive, while Sir Lesley did the same for an exceptionally crafted great axe. The Brothers were amazed by the craftsmanship of the weapons and knew they would come in handy on their journey.   The next morning (06 Beltane 2343) the Brothers met up with the caravan and left Penkurth, heading towards Applemere Glen for the uncasking festival.

Dwarven Guild Cyphers
Guild Cyphers were used by ancient dwarven guilds mainly prior to the Roniryn Golden Age. Since the golden age, their use has fallen out of practice and their art long forgetten. Initially the cyphers were used to protect each dwarven guild's secrets, but with the cultural fusion and idea sharing that the empire brought their usage has become a relic of a bygone era.   Guilds known to have used cyphers:
  • Smithing Guilds
  • Mining Guilds
  • Jewelers Guilds
  • Engineering Guilds
