The ornate cityscape of Andorora is a work of art, its rich and long history being a source of national pride for the Wrayatoran people. Constructed in the before the rise of the
Roniryn Empire in the shadow of Montrough Castle, the city is dominated by towering ancient walls, ancient cobblestone streets, and gargoyle adorned spires that pierce the clouds.
Old Town
At the heart of the city is Old Town, a bustling district of tightly packed buildings that is equal parts opulence and squalor. In Old Town, the streets are home to street traders, entertainers, merchants and an array of different cultures. Considered the beating heart of the city, its markets are as busy as its brothels.
Upper Town
Upper Town is a district that is filled with the people of privilege and influence. It is home to the wealthy and powerful, the buildings adorned with grand facades and gardens. Of particular interest to adventurers may be the Exchange, Upper Town’s premier trading district where merchants of all kinds come to cut deals and conduct business. It is also a popular sightseeing destination for visitors who come to savour the view of the city from atop its high walls.
Creeb Row
Head deeper into the city and one finds the artistic district of the city, called Creeb Row. Known as the home of painters, musicians, and writers. Here the streets are filled with the sights and sounds of creativity and expression. While much of the city’s elite may have no appreciation for these pursuits, it is the culture and lifeblood of the city's common folk.
Recent Developments
Andorora has been the capital of Wrayatora for centuries, and in that time it has grown beyond the merely capital. However it has recently fallen into a slow decline through the power hungry actions of
King Reynard. Once a safe-haven for people of all backgrounds,it has become increasingly nationalistic and increasingly dangerous for outsiders to reside in the city as they have been blamed for the tough economic times of late.
